Priceline.com and Barclays recently introduced the new Priceline Rewards Visa Card. Not surprisingly, it is most suitable for Priceline.com users, but it also carries an intro 0% balance transfer offer for 9 months (max fee of $50) that will appeal to a wider audience.

The card comes in two versions: one version carries an $29 annual fee while the other does not. The $29 annual fee card offers a $50 bonus after your initial purchase, while the no-fee card offers a $25 initial purchase bonus.

Features of the no-fee card include:

• $25 or 2,500 bonus points awarded after your first card purchase
• 2 points per $1 used on all eligible priceline.com bookings (all Name Your Own Price® bookings and all published-price airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars and vacation package bookings)
• 1 point per $1 spent on all other card purchases
• Up to 2,500 bonus points for balance transfers completed in the first 30 days (earn 1 point for every $1 transferred)
• 0% Introductory APR for nine months on balance transfers

The features of the $29 annual fee card include:

• $50 or 5,000 bonus points awarded after your first card purchase
• 4 points per $1 used for Name Your Own Price® reservations
• 3 points per $1 used for all eligible priceline.com bookings (all published-price airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars and vacation packages)
• 2 points per $1 spent in one of the following categories: utilities, groceries or home improvement. Cardholders select one category for the 2-point bonus.
• 1 point per $1 on all other card purchases
• Up to 5,000 bonus points for balance transfers completed in the first 30 days (earn 1 point for every $1 transferred)
• 0% Introductory APR for nine months on balance transfers

Each point can be redeemed for statement credit once at least 2,500 points have been accumulated, at a rate of 1 cent per point. Points can also be used towards priceline.com Name Your Own Price® travel reservations at a more favorable rate.
